There are a number of organizations that offer grants to those struggling with infertility, and some clinics even offer grants themselves.

National IVF Grants

A Gift of Hope from AGC Scholarship Foundation
AGC Scholarship foundation offers grants to couples struggling to cover the cost of fertility treatments. Established in 2010, the AGC Gift of Hope Scholarship help couples achieve their dreams of becoming parents.

Eligibility:

  • Must be over the age of 18.
  • Must have diagnosis of infertility.

The International Council on Infertility Information Dissemination
INCIID offers a national grant to help couples who cannot afford to pay for IVF on their own. The program covers most of the basic IVF costs and partners with respected clinics all over the country.

Eligibility:

  • Must register with INCIID community and donate $55 or more a year.
  • Must meet the criteria for infertility as defined by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine

IVF Grants for Military and Veterans

Bob Woodruff Foundation VIVA Fund
The Bob Woodruff Foundation’s mission is to find, fund, and shape innovative programs that help veterans, service members, and their families thrive. Since 2016, the foundation has funded IVF for more than 30 veteran families.

Eligibility:

  • The veteran must be legally married.
  • The veteran must have service-connected condition causing infertility.
  • The veteran or veteran spouse must have an intact uterus and at least one functioning ovary.
  • The veteran or spouse must be able to produce sperm.

IVF Grants for Gay Men & Women of LGBTQ+ Community

Men Having Babies
Men Having babies offers multiple grants to cover the cost of IVF treatment, as well as egg donor and surrogacy costs. The organization works in partnerships with clinics across the country.

Eligibility:

  • Must be homosexual man or transgender woman.
  • Must meet financial eligibility criteria.

IVF Grants for Jewish Families

Grants from Hasidah provide IVF funding for Jewish families of all backgrounds and sexual orientation. Their grants also cover IVF related expenses like PGD and ICSI.

Eligibility:

  • Must practice Judaism solely and applicants must demonstrate a connection to Jewish life.
  • Must be a permanent US resident.
  • Must have health insurance that does not cover IVF
  • Must meet American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s definition of infertility.

IVF Grants for Cancer Patients

Samfund
The Samfund Grant from Expecting Miracles Foundation provides financial support for young cancer survivors. Couples can receive assistants from SamFund up to three times.

Eligibility:

  • Patient must be between the ages of 21 and 39.
  • Patient must reside in the US.
  • Patient must be finished with active cancer treatments with no evidence of disease, one year past planned therapy with stable disease, in remission and on hormonal therapy, or in remission and on long-term targeted therapy.

State Specific Grants

Fertility Foundation of Texas logo

The foundation awards grants up to $12,000 that can be used towards IVF. Payments are made directly to the provider.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must reside in Central Texas.
  • Applicants household income must be below $100,000 annually.
  • Applicants must have a diagnosis of infertility.
